Room Palettes

From Function to Feeling: How to Choose a Room Palette with Color Psychology

The most reliable way to choose a room's colors is to work backwards: start with what the room is for, decide the mood that function requires, and only then pick the color characteristics that research and design practice associate with that mood. This framework maps a room's function to a target mood, and that mood to a palette strategy defined by temperature, saturation, and value.
